We didn't make a reservation, but the owner was willing to give us a table in the middle when we arrived. The food was delicious and the price was cheap. The owner also gave us after-dinner wine. We were very happy to eat here.

We come from Spain, the super cozy place.
The waiters were helpful and attentive to everything. Fast service, delicious homemade food.
I would definitely return.
I recommend the soup, the carne à Alentejana and the tomato with feta.
The place and the atmosphere make you feel at home.

We became aware of this somewhat off-the-beaten-track restaurant because of the tempting smell that lingered on the street and immediately made a reservation for the next day. The restaurant has a rustic look that fits perfectly into the surroundings. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, although I would give a small tip that empty plates could be cleared away a little quicker.
The food is incredibly tasty and served tapas style, which we really enjoyed. The delicacies are really excellent, so we went straight back the next day. We also tried two cocktails, but they still have some room for improvement.
All in all, an absolutely recommendable restaurant!

Food scarce, and very expensive.
The day before I was there and it was empty, I understand why!

Intrigued by the reviews, we decide to have dinner at the Taberna. VERY BAD welcome (from the girl), while a very different treatment was reserved for the Portuguese customers (seated immediately and the food arrived after 2 minutes). We ate many dishes, too bad they were all full of garlic and the food was sailing in oil (soaked). The prawns were raw and not peelable. Furthermore, we ordered bread and asked the waiter again, it was never brought to us but included in the BILL! When I pointed this out to him, he also seemed annoyed and checked to see if the bread bowl really wasn't there. NOT RECOMMENDED! STAY AWAY!

Unbeatable food quality and price. Quick service but clumsy and inattentive, the employee with the pencil behind his ear is ready to fire...

I don't know what the food will be like...because at 9 p.m....closing the kitchen at 10:30 p.m. and having only one couple in front of us, they tell us that there is no more for dinner 3...an hour and a half before close the kitchen...that another two yes...not even able to put another chair for a girl...I don't know what the food will be like but I certainly don't feel like working today.
