I visited this establishment on a brief visit to Avis, and I can say that I will certainly repeat it when I go there again!
Modest and simple place, but clean and the cuisine, at least what we ate, was extraordinary!
We started with the traditional couvert (Alentejo bread, olives and butter) followed by a bowl of spinach soup and immediately followed by stewed veal and cod with cream, all very tasty!
For dessert we ordered a chocolate mousse (homemade) and a semi-cold wooden leg, which were also very delicious.
To finish, two coffees.
We paid around €23 for the meal and I can say that it was much better than the dinner the previous day where I paid in a much more traditional and not so modest place, more than double and we didn't eat that well!
In short, for those looking to eat well and don't look at "luxuries", I can only say, visit! Judging by what we ate, you won't regret it!
Congratulations to the professionals who welcomed us as they were very friendly!

Very tasty food with affordable prices and well served portions. We've been coming here for over a year and it's always been our go-to restaurant. Very good cook.

We came here for lunch on Easter Sunday, so it might affect the food options.
I had a bit of lamb, and bf had pork with fries and fried egg.
My lamb was medium low, the meat was ok but the potatoes were not good and there was way too much “water” for a roast.
His meat was nice but the French fries could be better if had less grease, the oil was not fresh.
But it was a good enough price quality ratio.
They didn’t had beer without alcohol.
The soup was nice, we didn’t had dessert.
We paid 21.4€
Oh bread and olives perfect as it usually is in Alentejo.
Friendly waiter

€9 menu. They are fast and the menu is not bad.We ordered sardines and they were defrosted with tasteless tomato on the side, I guess they were a bit over the top with the annual motorcycle event.

(Translated by Google) We had lunch inside in a good space, it didn't take long and it has a menu that allows for faster and more economical meals. It also has other dishes off the menu.(Original)Almoçamos no interior num espaço bom, não demorou muito e tem menu que permite refeições mais rápidas e económicas. Também dispõe de outros pratos fora do menu.
