Pastry shop where I have breakfast daily. I am always welcomed with a smile and a good disposition. In addition to the excellent pastries, the birthday cakes are always very creative. Azambuja is lucky to have a place like this.

This pastry is simply incredible! Each visit is a true delight, with its irresistible custard tarts and mille-feuille. The quality is always wonderful.
Furthermore, the service is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and are always ready to help. I highly recommend this place to everyone who appreciates a good pastry!

Miserable service!
I made an appointment for a group of 55 pilgrims for 5:10 in the morning. In addition to not complying with what was agreed, when questioned they constantly refuted their responsibilities, saying that “if we are going to Fátima, we have to be good Christians”.
Therefore, good Christians have to “listen and remain silent” in the face of failures, and, eventually, be grateful for them because “we are Christians”…
Miserable attitude. In my opinion, as soon as we express our displeasure at a huge lack of commitment, the attitude should be one of recognition and apology.
They didn't. I'm just sorry that there are people like this in customer service.
Lastly, and not least, despite my displeasure at this situation, I want to highlight the good work of the pastry chef and baker, as the products are of great quality.

The problem solving in this business is beyond terrible. An order was placed for a half-kilo birthday cake. Everything ok, everything ok. At the end of the day, when the order is picked up, a 1,250kg cake appears. Totally next to what was requested. More than double the order. Raise the question, the owner says he realized it was said one kilo. Even if it had been a kilo, it runs away in a quarter upon request. A business that places this type of order every day does not know how to manage quantities, causing a 25% slippage in orders? This makes invoicing easy. The establishment’s resolution was “do you want to take the cake or not?”. Of course, I'm going to postpone my birthday until tomorrow... I've been buying a birthday cake for years, but not anymore. Quality (which has been falling) does not compensate for an establishment's faulty problem solving.
