A great find in the middle of the hinterland. Super delicious food, perfectly prepared, great flavors and super nice service. We were not prepared for the very generous portions, so after the starter and main course there was unfortunately no room left for one of the tempting looking desserts. Tiny drawback, there is only a Portuguese menu, but we were able to use Google translator to help us, even if I preferred not to try the "black pork lizard" or a "pure olive oil steak"?. But everything we had (cheese and olives, "Espetada de lombo novilho/Gambas" beef skewer with shrimps, "tango de porco preto" an excellently prepared surprise piece of pork) was highly recommended.

In a typical Alentejo village on the side of the road. Good access, good food, moderate to high prices. Excellent idea for a side table next to the dining area, to place bags, suitcases and other belongings. Large, clean and bright bathrooms.

I had the opportunity to have dinner at Puro Azeite and I was very impressed. The cuisine was exceptional, with carefully prepared dishes and delicious flavors that truly awakened the senses. Furthermore, the service was impeccable, with a very attentive team that made the experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend Puro Azeite to anyone looking for a memorable gastronomic experience. I will want to return. Many congratulations!

Provincial restaurant, that's trying really hard to provide quality local fine dining - good menu of interesting food, great looking wine list,
If I had any criticism to offer it might be that it's trying so hard to be super smart, that it lost a bit of soul along the way.
I'd say "earnest" - but could be more relaxed..
Still, I'd happily visit again.. I might feel obliged to put a jacket on however...
It felt a tiny bit overpriced for a local restaurant, maybe 10% less would have made me rave about the place..
