Therefore, when it was our turn, Quinta das Silveiras emerged as a natural choice. A choice that turned out to be the right decision we could make. The entire process was guided by the tranquility, trust and lightness that we sought throughout the process. Joana, our event manager, and the entire team dedicated themselves completely to providing us with a day that went far beyond what we could have asked for. We have always felt that every detail and every decision had the sole objective of ensuring our well-being and happiness. The team always demonstrated enormous patience, emotional intelligence and affection towards us and all our guests (who truly loved the food and the space!). Vegetarian options: The vegetarian dishes were extremely diverse and tasty, according to the feedback we received from our guests. They even mentioned that it was the first wedding they had been to where the food was not up to expectations due to the fact that it was vegetarian.
Dietary restrictions: All of our guests' dietary restrictions, some of which were quite severe and limiting, were fully complied with without incident.
Parking: Very close to the entrance.

Well our choice was very easy. Right from the moment we started communicating with Alexandra we knew that our special day would be everything we had dreamt of. we fell in love with Quinta das Silveiras the first time we visited it, and everything was organised to perfection. we had 50 guests travelling from the UK for our wedding, but everything went without a hitch. the food was incredible, the service friendly and welcoming, and the decorations spectacular...we couldn't have asked for anything more! our guests are still talking about the tasty fish dish as well as the buffet, and the cocktail bar went down a treat! our UK guests couldn't get over how they were offered seconds and thirds at every course (this never happens at a wedding in the UK), and our Portuguese guests said it was one of the most well organised weddings they had ever been to! Alexandra was absolutely charming. She was always there on hand to help and to ensure our day was perfect. we would highly recommend the Quinta as a wedding venue, and we hope to be invited to celebrations there in the near future so we can enjoy again!! thank you for everything from the bottoms of our hearts ?

We first went to view the venue 2 years before our big day, and was amazed by the beauty of the venue! From then up until the year of the wedding, communication was not the best. I would often email and get no response, and would not receive any updates on the planning process. We were given short notice of the taster evening, and as we live in england, it was very stressful to try and plan our visit in such a short space of time. We also had to bring our baby because there was no one to leave him with, which made the evening more stressful. The concept of the taster evening is great, I just think that there needs to be some flexibility. A few months before the wedding, our wedding planner was replaced with another and communication improved dramatically. The big day went without a hitch, and the staff were extremely professional and organised. The venue looked beautiful, and the food was delicious.

When we finally visited the farm in person, during the food tasting, we were absolutely enchanted, especially with the idyllic location in nature and the different spaces that the farm offers. From the grassy area at the front to the back with the pool, everything was just perfect.Our organizer, Alexandra, and the entire farm team, were incredible from the beginning, doing everything they could to make our dreams and special ideas that we had for our big day come true. Even when it seemed impossible to hold the wedding the way we dreamed of (almost entirely outdoors, using all the spaces the farm offers), Alexandra found a way to make it possible.One of the highlights of our wedding was having the dance in the back, near the pool, with a dance floor, bar and live music. Additionally, the Pisco Sour service at the bar was exceptional.On the wedding day, the organization was an example of professionalism. Alexandra, without taking us away from our special day, found ways to always be there when we needed to answer questions. We had more than 150 guests from various parts of the world (Portugal, Peru, Germany, United States...) and everyone was delighted with the delicious food and exceptional service throughout the event. We held our wedding in May 2023, at Quinta das Silveiras, and if we went back we would make the same decision.Everything went very well, from the preparation, the meetings, the clarification of doubts very quickly, the day of the exams. On the wedding day, the ceremony was civil and Verónica organized everything as we intended. The welcome drink is very filling, and the people working are always very friendly and available. The dishes were served at the table, very quickly and as agreed in the meetings. The day flew by, and it was wonderful, it went as we wanted and it could only happen with the wonderful people who work on this farm. Thank you so much to everyone who helped us on our day!

The natural landscape of the estates is magnificent, namely Quinta de Santo António do Freixo, where we got married. However, in the case of our wedding, the team at Iguarias was far below what we expected, namely: - We pre-booked the farm in Feb. 2022 where conditions and prices were explained to us. We only signed a contract in March 2023, and on that date the price increased a lot, in addition to the fact that services that we had to negotiate were no longer included. It was not explained to us that the tests would only be for the bride and groom, having only realized this in December 2022. They said that they would compensate us for this communication failure, which did not happen. - We opted for the farm's exclusive service, having paid an extra amount for it, which included the cellar house and a main hall where the buffet would take place. We were not allowed to use the cellar house, even though we paid for it. Again we tried to negotiate and nothing. On our wedding day, my mother asked the manager to use it for a grandmother who was in a wheelchair and a sick aunt who needed some privacy, and she was forced to hand over the room key; - The decoration service supposedly included in the price was very limited, with an extremely limited range of options. Very poor table name display (a mirror) that if we wanted flowers we would have to pay more. - Wedding planners service in our case only made the wedding organization more difficult! Everything had to adapt to the manager's taste and not to our taste! We wanted to dance inside the ballroom and the manager was adamant about our taste, doing everything to ensure that the dance took place in the street. The ball in the afternoon ended up being in the street and in the evening, after much negotiation and through the animation team, we managed to make it inside the ballroom. All this because supposedly the hall does not have space for more than 200 people. However, when booking this space, they indicate that it must have a minimum number of 150 people.It seems to us that the simple fact that we are thoughtful grooms and that we wanted to save money meant that they treated us differently. They give priority to rich grooms or who have someone to pay them and who accept to pay for every extra.
