I ate here two weeks ago. What a treat and such a lucky find. The host was amazing. Friendly and hospitable. He is from South Africa and it was lovely to connect. The food was delicious. I had the pimento peppers, the stuffed mushrooms and the beyond delicious orange pudding cake. OMG the dessert was so good. Finished off with a shot of port and an espresso. Thank you for a beautiful and memorable evening.

We were advised to go to Bistro Vigor for lunch across the road whilst booking in on the Camino. What a fabulous experience!! The food and wine were excellent and the host and hostess made our lunch exceptional, Vitória - our host was simply fantastic, we had a good connection as we had one thing in common, South Africa, we shared many stories, was wonderful. The couple is super welcoming, like I've never seen in any restaurant! The food was delicious (with details acquired outside the country) and the space was very cozy. A restaurant that, upon entering, has the feeling that we have entered the couple's home. I highly recommend it! ❤️

We found this wonderful place at our stop in Barcelos on the Camino Way - it is a gem. The owners were exceptionally helpful, particularly with my wife the vegetarian - they prepared her a wonderful pasta/vegetable dish not on the menu. The House wine was delightful, and I had the garlic/butter prawns and also pork rib tapas. The taste of both items was perfect, with the fried potato side with the ribs excellent as well.Atmosphere and service were 5 stars as well. What a wonderful find from a person who used to use Trip Advisor...... I cannot envision a better choice, so glad I walked by and stopped in to see the place!!!Thank you for. wonderful meal and kindness!
