Very nice cafe, in the center of Barcelos, with a good atmosphere (9 to 99) and a good variety of beers.

Very typical café in the city with good coffee and reasonable local prices (Café com leito for €1.00, Super Bock 0.33 for €1.40).The waitress Otavia ran the shop very competently all by herself with a very friendly and very, very fast service.Recommended

We were looking for some authentic Portuguese food for our last night in town, and this corner of Lisbon seemed promising. The service was OK; the waiter was very chatty and quirky, overly so. I finally tried the famous "bacalhau" (cod fish,) and it wasn't something I would eat again. The goat dish was mostly bones. The prosciutto brought as an appetizer was pretty good. It's just pretty hard to find a truly excellent dinner in Lisbon.
Tucked away a bit from one of the main tourist roads but still within sight of t shirts and sun burned sojourners from the north. We found this restaurant and had a very nice lunch of mixed salad, octopus salad and some grilled pork ribs with a nice white wine from the Duoro. The waiter was pleasant and helpful and I am sure you can expect a similar experience.

In stark contrast to other reviews, the food wasn’t that bad albeit expensive for what was received. Service was the problem from the get go, the waiter seemed uninterested it looking after me, I asked for sardine pate and he bought tuna. When I questioned this he said he didn’t think they had any but would check. He proceeded to have a drink at the bar opposite and after 10 mins reappeared with a portion of sardine pate and acted as if I should be delighted. When it started to rain, I was left to carry my own food, drinks and baggage under the shelter to a dirty table that had not been cleared away. Despite sitting there for a further 30 mins no attempt was made to clear the table. I had to ask for the Bill twice and when he finally press enter it it said in a loud voice that excludes the tip. So I excluded it. Beware extra charges for items you didn’t order or want
Service was fine if the food hadn’t been so aweful, looked like most of it had come out of a dusty old tin and was steam cooked, the meat was sub-par and probably the most expensive restaurant we have visited with the worst quality of food, I would recommend to go elsewhere
Their chicken and shish kabobs were spectacular!!! Service was fabulous and very attentive. Highly recommend.
