Grandma's bread (also known as water bread) is, in my opinion, the best around here. It comes out warm several times a day.

Good for having a coffee, eating lots of delicious things, bathroom, pleasant atmosphere, good service and a small play ground to entertain the children.

I have never in my life paid €2.20 for a piece of toast! Not even in Lisbon. This was toast on normal bread, one of the toasts was dry (without butter), they said they didn't have olive oil and yet, it's a place where they even cook pizzas. Therefore, it shows ill will. If I paid €2.20 (!!!!!!) for two toasted slices of bread, at least they were attentive. The service is not bad but it is not excellent either. Now the prices and ill will are horrible. In fact, I went to withdraw money thinking that 2 people would never spend the minimum to use the ATM and when I look, almost €10 for 2 toasts and 2 Compal ? very bad.I picked up and brought the toast home and it was terrible, not even with the oil they were so hard and dry.
There's not much to say about this place, because everything inside is just divine, from the tooop table service to the delicious pastry service.I recommend the thousand-leaf coffee which is so good.

When I came here I was served by a soulful person who directed me to the table without question. Several workers came to ask if we were enjoying the food and if they could do anything to improve our experience. The mille-feuille was stunning and I could feel the passion that the cook had to make the best pastries he could.I can see why this cafe is one of the most popular in Leiria.I intend to return daily.

Aged looking cafe with traditional pastry made differently and not for the better. The bread is nice.

It's a shame you can't order on the terrace. It forces us to go to the counter and have the misfortune of arriving at the terrace and the place is already occupied by another customer. It's uncomfortable. ?
It's great to have a place close to home like the cinnamon stick café. I just think that the staff should be a little nicer. They are unfriendly and make the experience of being there unappreciated.
