As for the owner of the 5☆ restaurant, she is very approachable, friendly, and makes divine tomato rice and chocolate mousse. If I return to Beja I will return to this restaurant, without a doubt.

This place is off the beaten path and well worth walking a few blocks over. The owner waited on us, making recommendations as the menu is in Portuguese. We had grilled sea bass and tuna. Unbelievably delicious. Love love loved the tomato and onion salad. Great food and super nice people.
