Cafe with a very simple restaurant room. There are only two dish options: Alentejo pork or cuttlefish. We ordered pork which was very well served and delicious. Homemade food made by D. Silvia who cooks like typical Portuguese grandmothers!
Very humble but familiar atmosphere, it feels like we went to eat at our grandparents' house.
Very tasty! Repeating!

Came across this little restaurant by chance. Since we don't speak Portuguese, communication was only possible with our hands and feet. We were still warmly welcomed and looked after. The food, recommended by the boss, was very tasty and the prices were moderate.

Impeccable and friendly staff. Typical of the region.

If you are in a good mood and missing a grandparents meal, absolutely try this. Your kids will be spoiled, you will be told off if you will not eat all the food and you will have to test what Jorge will bring you. Of course avoid questions about the menu, they will tell you what to eat (and drink), follow the flow and be prepared to negotiate the bill ?

After all the positive reviews I had to see it for myself and I loved it. No menu, no communication only Portuguese, but they were funny and the food was good. We had meat and calamari.

Without knowledge of Portuguese, communication becomes very difficult. There is no menu, so we could only manage with pictures. We then ordered calamari and fries. In addition a salad (very simple and small), 2 beers, 1 water. We found the whole thing for €25 to be a surprising amount; hence the star deduction. But the calamari were really good and the hosts were very nice and child-friendly.At first you didn't really know if you were welcome, but that was misinterpreted.Although there are only 2 places to eat in the area, it is not one that you have to avoid. Because what you get here for free is some Portuguese culture :)
I love this portuguese restaurant.Silvia and George are two good-hearted people. Silvia runs the shop and George entertains the guests ?. I understand very little Portuguese, but "everyone" can talk to George. All the best to both of you. I hope they stay as fit as they are now.I/we will definitely come back.
The food is delicious. I recommend the Feijoada de Búzios, the Duck Rice, the Choco Frito, the Alentejo-style Pork. I also recommend the fried moray eel or the octopus and whelk salads for a nice snack. 5 stars.
