We came to the restaurant first thing in the morning to try to make a reservation for two people for dinner. We were informed that they did not accept reservations because they already had two groups booked. I suggested we could make a reservation at the restaurant next door for that night and book here for the next night. The man said no, that we could come that night and he would find a space for us.
Trusting this, we didn't make a reservation anywhere else. However, when we arrived at the agreed time, "there were no tables available". Several tables were already marked as reserved or already occupied.
This establishment demonstrated a total lack of professionalism and organization. Don't fall into the same trap we did. Avoid this restaurant if you are looking for a reliable place to dine.

Very welcoming restaurant, where the food is very good and of extreme quality, we were surprised by the owner's recommendation and it is very worth it. We arrived at this gastronomic space by luck and without knowing anyone, we ended up immersed in the Alentejo music where the Dama concert was shown on the restaurant's TV and we ended up discovering that Dama had recorded one of their famous songs here in this place.
We were honestly enchanted by the atmosphere provided and even the dispute between the couple (the owners), one who turned up the sound on the television to hear the music well and the other who secretly lowered it, fighting for a little silence to be able to concentrate. in preparing the best food, we consider this priceless and of infinite value ♾️.

The first time we went, we were with family. We liked it so much that, after three weeks, we went back for a weekend in Beja and had dinner there twice with a group of friends. We were very well attended to, the food was great and the atmosphere was incredible. Mr Jorge welcomed us very well and our son loved him.

I don't recommend it to anyone who wants to go there with a group. I'm at the Beja Cup and I went there for dinner with my group of athletes' parents and we were poorly received... as we were a large group and we were talking, Mr. Jorge (partner/manager) was very rude and treated us like children. He had the nerve to tell me that he only accepted my reservation because I was nice on the phone. At the restaurant he had the nerve to tell me the same thing again and he even did me a favor, as he didn't need us because the house is always full. Well, there was a lot to tell, what else was said to me, but I would be here for a long time. I was very disappointed. Unfortunately I won't be back.
Parking: It was very difficult to find a place.
