A bijoux little eatery with attentive staff. At the expensive end for Portugal but the food is good and worth the journey. First timers will have difficulty finding it but persevere ; its worth it !
Unassuming but welcoming interior with additional street seating. John/João a skilled chef using fresh local ingredients to their best advantage. Imaginative dishes served with humour and charm. Highly recommend!

Amazing food, excellent service, not too busy at all
Our waiter, Joao, was great! He helped make this evening a night to remember. He was attentive and funny. We followed his recommendation and ordered the filet accompanied by the risotto with mushrooms. Best risotto I have had, creamy and tasty! We highly recommend this restaurant.
Had seen Tosca Tasca on The Fork and made a res before getting to Evora. After a long day of sightseeing, was nice to be able to walk in and be seated right away. Friendly owner, who helped us with the menu. Had a really nice steak frites meal. Everything was well cooked, fresh. Restaurant is comfortable and cozy, with a well thought out selection of Portuguese wines. Would come here again.
Very good restaurant. We enjoyed the waiter and the food. We had the risotto with fillet and the tuna tatami and both were excellent. One of us had the shrimp with lime risotto. It was very limy and only had three shrimp but was good. The dessert was a flan like piece of pie with a caramel sauce- excellent. Red wine was especially good- we liked the “soft” one of the two house wines.
A great spot on a busy, active narrow street in Evora. The service was very good. Excellent wine list. The food was very good. Great place for lunch.
One of our favourite meals in Portugal! The ambiance on the street is so great, so many fun little restaurants with all the tables out in the alleyway and TascaTosca is definitely one of the best. The filet mignon risotto is to die for, we ordered two! Its also a wine bar so they really know their vinho, highly recommend a local from the Antejo region. Wait staff are attentive and knowledgeable. If you're in Evora you must eat here (book ahead!).

Wonderful meal and phenomenal, friendly service. Our waiter was very helpful and explained many of the items on the menu. The octopus was very tender - delicious.
