I have been going to Tasquinha da Alice, located in the Serra do Alvão, for over 15 years, and I can say that it is a true treasure for lovers of regional cuisine. This restaurant stands out not only for its isolated and picturesque location, but also for the rustic and welcoming atmosphere that makes us feel at home.
Tasquinha da Alice remains true to its roots, providing an authentic experience with each visit. The stone walls and traditional decoration create a unique atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the delicious snacks that are the house's trademark. Alheira, prepared according to the traditional recipe, is simply divine, with a texture and flavor that captivates the palate.
Another unmissable dish is the salpicão omelette, rich and tasty, which perfectly complements the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. And, of course, the meat in the pan, slowly cooked to perfection, is a true delight, succulent and accompanied by a robust sauce that takes us back to memories of home-cooked meals.
Throughout all these years, Tasquinha da Alice has maintained the quality and authenticity that made it so special. It is a haven of tranquility and good food, a place that I continue to visit with enthusiasm, always assured of a memorable meal.
