If you want a great stop very close to the A6 motorway, try Cafe Califa - run by a very friendly and helpful lady who bakes excellent cakes (the patisserie is bought in but v good) and makes very good coffee, easy parking and bonus: Prio low cost petrol station on the way back to the A6 - highly recommended 5 min detour to avoid the A6 service startions!
