Characteristic and popular place, the only restaurant/bar in Bordeira, a beautiful village a few kilometers from the beach of the same name. Feel the atmosphere of the Algarve. Good food, poor service.

We just wanted a cup of cafe on our tour... it was really good and so was the muffin and some kind of Florentine. 2 cappuccinos + the above-mentioned pastries for EUR 7 are really sweet. You sit with locals in the shade without tourist noise... just how we like it!

The two of us are traveling on the Rota Vicentina and the restaurant is right on the traditional route. The staff was friendly and it's typically Portuguese. The lunch menu is available for 12 euros. However, we decided on a "can" fish platter (1 can is always for two people), and we had a delicious vegetable soup as a starter and freshly grilled fish. The fish was freshly grilled on the street, as is typical for the country.Afterwards we had a cafe and of course a drink and paid a total of 30 euros for everything for two people. The food was sufficient and tasty. At Rota Vicentina we are always looking for typical Portuguese restaurants and this one met our requirements. We can recommend it.Of course, you shouldn't compare typical local cuisine and typical Portuguese restaurants where locals go with upscale German restaurants.

Good place
Excessively expensive price for Portugal, around 20% more expensive when in other tourist sites (Nazaré). Bread crumbs on the table, coke served without ice or lemon.
Very tasty food and friendly service. But €15 per person for rice with vegetable curry surprises me a lot. Nowhere in Portugal have I ever paid so much for lunch. I know the country inside and out and have been to countless restaurants. The waiter also said that curry with prawns was the same price as curry with vegetables. Strange and a shame because I won't be coming back.

Unfortunately no thanksFor 25 years I've been at the border, no matter how hungry I was, I always followed and avoided stopping to eat at the border, today I was sure I was right to never have stopped at the border

Owner set up a table specially for our group to watch World cup rugby quarter finals. We had fantastic prawns & plenty booze at a great price. They prepared my prawns specially for me without garlic at my request. Price of 30 Euro per person includes generous helping of perfectly prepared prawns plus excellent chips & many bottles of wine.

The best food around, if you want to try tradicional portuguese dishes this is the place you need to go. I’ll be back for sure.
