“Having lunch here in this space has been planned since last year. We knew that the views of the Alto Rabagão dam and the space itself were unique and out of the ordinary. From the photos that had been seen previously, it was more than approved.
The main thing was missing: the gastronomic test.
On a Wednesday, there was no dish of the day, just the house menu. We went for the house station, called 7 Wonders, with mashed potatoes. Accompanied by 2 dark beers + 2 house desserts + 2 coffees + 2 bagasse, preceded by the starter of olives and rustic bread. Everything was good, it's a shame that 2 more potatoes and vegetables hadn't been served on the side.
The steak itself wasn't the best steak I've tasted, but it wasn't one to throw away either. It was rated 3.5 out of 5.
€21 was the right price for everything served.

Up the steps just above the main river front, this traditional restaurant has the perfect mix of traditional comfort food cooked well, friendly staff and a cosy setting with a lovely view of the river. We went in the early evening so we avoided the dinner rush and enjoyed the early evening sun. The food we had was good quality traditional Portuguese cooking. Delicious seafood, crispy roast potatoes and nice wines. The restaurant was clean and comfortable with white linen on the tables. Staff were very friendly and attentive.“

There was barrosã steak and stew...we ordered half of each to try.We were satisfied with the starters alone.Exceptional bread... melon with ham, well-made rojões, ranch.Then came the stew and the steak (supposedly half a dose of each) enough for 4 people...mature red house wine, liter mug...dessert, cream milk, pudding and fruit...coffee and digestive. ..Okay, nothing to point out.Full room and everything very well coordinated.Definitely coming back“
