We arrived around 12:00 p.m. Only 2 tables were occupied. The rest of the tables filled up quickly. People arrived after us, were served, drinks, soups, dishes... After 40 minutes of waiting, no one asked us what we wanted to drink or eat... We left. The regulars are visibly favored... If you are passing through, go your way!

It's a modest restaurant! Visitors cannot expect luxury, but the service is very friendly. As for the meal: I ordered grilled meat which was cooked and very tasty; my wife ordered salmon which according to her was good! Both dishes came duly accompanied by salad, green beans, salad, potatoes... As for the price, it was a pleasant surprise!

I was here a few days ago and enjoyed the experience. Simplicity and I would say authenticity are the strong point. My experience had well-prepared dishes, with that more homely and traditional taste, so it didn't disappoint. I liked the friendliness of the people who served, who were always helpful and attentive. Just a little for the presentation and decoration of the room, but nothing major. For the rest, I give it a good evaluation taking into account the expectations I had. I recommend it especially to those who like traditional cuisine that is closer to home cooking. Make a note when you return to Boticas ?

The barrosã meat is excellent. We were served with great friendliness. The alheira and cheese starters are excellent. The products are local. The restaurant is rustic, expect to leave smelling of smoke from the fireplace. This is where the locals come to eat, the room is not luxurious. For those who want an xpto wine, or are looking for luxuries, there are more options in Boticas. Anyone who wants a gastronomic experience in the Barroso style, in a room with walls darkened by smoke from the fireplace and local food to match, will not be disappointed.
