Lovely place for lunch. The owner is very kind and speaks great English. We had the menu of the day (roast chicken) with bread, salad, rice, and fries. It was plenty of delicious food at a very reasonable price of €10 per person.

Called in here to this lovely, little family run restaurant for lunch after visiting Bom Jesus. Very welcoming owner? offered us a choice of fish or a stew. We all chose the feijoada which consisted of beans, vege, chorizo, veal & pork served with rice and bread. It was divine!! Highly recommend.

Very good local food and in large quantities. Fair price and, especially, the spectacular waiter's attention.

What a genuinely charming family!! We had planned poorly while visiting Bom Jesus and missed the lunch hour. Luckily, when we called, Cafe Suzy was still offering lunch. We had two tasty local dishes - a tender pork and battered fish with rice and salad - and delicious lime cheesecake for dessert. What struck us most, however, was the genuine kindness of the family members who own the restaurant. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, had such warm, genuine smiles, inquired about our origins and shared local recommendations. Highly recommend!
