Unacceptable behavior of the boss, the employee or I don't know who this man was at the entrance to the restaurant. We needed to buy bottles of water for the kids who were feeling unwell and my aunt had to go to the bathroom because she has endometriosis. We were refused entry. This gentleman advised us to go further down to a bar under the pretext that it is a “restaurant”. However, the restaurant next door let us come in and buy the bottles without problem, fortunately. Learn to learn about the diseases that exist in 2024 and be of service!!! Inhumane, selfish and malicious.

Very good food, a nice and clean place and fast and friendly service. We ordered 1/2 of roast goat and 1/2 of cod, they came with their respective garnishes, a few potatoes and rice in the goat, seasoned with some liquor, probably wine, garnished with onion, grated carrots and turnip greens and a pile of potatoes fried with cod, along with onion and grated carrot. The food is abundant, especially the amount of potatoes that come along with the cod, which, although it was delicious, the goat was the tastiest. Together with a couple of Coca-Colas we came out to just over €20. I really liked it and a visit to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesús is mandatory so I would repeat.

Today we visited the good Jesus. We were 3 adults and a dog. The weather was good and we stayed on the terrace. We ate the soup of the day, roast veal, wine, melon and lemon cheesecake. The food was spectacular. From what we heard and noticed from the other tables and customers, everything was fine. Next time we'll try the cod. Very praised and everything looks great. The service should be highlighted: we were mostly served by an employee who I didn't get to ask her name (I'm very sorry). This girl has EXEMPLARY care and service. From being friendly, attentive, practical, human, quick.... (really spectacular). Thank you for the excellent lunch.☺️ (the food was so good and we were hungry, I couldn't take photos)

I didn't have high expectation because I thought it's a tourist trap since it's close to Bom Jesus. I was very hungry and there are not much choice up there so I still went in. The service was very nice, welcoming, helpful and friendly. I had roast lamb and tuna salad. The food was ok. Then I sat outdoors to enjoy a cake and a cup of tea. It was very enjoyable and relaxing. The lemon cheesecake was so good. Once again the service is really amazing. I would love to thank each of them for giving me an enjoyable afternoon.

Imagine you are hungry and a guest in one of the hotels at the top of the mountain near the “Bom Jesus” attraction. Not far from your hotel there are 3 restaurants that are open according to Google Maps. So you run there and none of the 3! Restaurants are open. There is also no note on any of the doors that could explain why this is the case. It is a shame and also frustrating that many restaurant owners do not maintain their website. It's not that difficult at all.
