We didn't like the friguideiras at all, the meat inside didn't taste like anything and the dough had too much butter, I asked for it with potatoes and they served me pre-packaged and reheated potatoes. The only thing in favor, the waiter who served us, a charming kid

I went there mid-July, what a disappointment!!!
Nothing to do with 2013.... where it was women who managed, knew how to welcome, and their dishes were very hot, of quality, varied and very tasty... There, the frigideira rikiki, cold, probably from the day before , the little so-called minced meat (I thought it was lentils!) was stale and tasted several days old... The boss, a poor guy who still thinks he is in the days of slavery: for the to arrange and avoid sitting alone on the table of 8 people, I sit on 1 small table which I move to the shade of the terrace. He rushes and yells at the waiter (maybe 18 years old), a mixed race from the old colonies, and very nice. I tell him that it was me who moved the small table so as not to occupy the big one, I apologize and he continues to shout at the young man. What a shame. Without finishing my dish, disgusting, I paid, left a tip for the young man and left. TO FLEE !!!

Regular experience on the bad side. We heard on a free tour that they recommended it for the frigideiras, which are empanadas with puff pastry dough with meat, and in our case also ham and cheese. The truth is that they are quite oily, a lot of puff pastry and little filling, a little dry, for my taste.

The waiters were a little slow, except for one of the young waitresses with braces who looked like she was the fastest of all when picking up and carrying the dishes.

I would not recommend it and if I return to Braga I will not try it again.

I order 2 pregos on the plate medium rare and a prego appears like a sole with cold carrot rice, I'm calmly talking to the wife and the bill comes to the table without me having asked. Very poor service...
It was the first time I came here and it will certainly be the last.

Considering the years and history of the restaurant, the food leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a roast veal. Tasteless and dry meat, flavorless sauce, bland potatoes. The food was very bland and had no taste whatsoever. Friendly staff and the kitchen needs to change the cooks.

Troubleshoot.
Cold welcome, cold and personal service, not smiling and rather unpleasant.
Very cold restaurant bar (in both senses of the word, lack of heating and soulless!)
Cheap food but really lacks taste and originality. The specialty is ordinary, too dry and tasteless filling, too bad.

Frying pans were good a few years ago. I was there this weekend and the filling is non-existent. Some ridiculous pieces of meat and a price that isn't justified. It's a shame they killed what could have been "the goose that laid the golden eggs". The staff is friendly and the terrace is in a very pleasant location.
I hope it was the flood for S. JOíO, which caused the meat to be missing.

I was born in Braga and I always remember this house. Today I went there but unfortunately they are no longer the original ones, the puff pastry in the pans is no longer the same and there was little meat.
The service was very calm for the service that was taking place, it took a long time to be attended to and I had to press for more speed!

The frying pan is a puff pastry pastry filled with minced meat typical of Braga.I had never tried it before, and despite this restaurant's great reputation for this specialty, I didn't like it. The puff pastry was greasy and the meat filling was dry and flavorless.Friendly and fast service.
