It still eats well, but I notice that it has lost its quality and personalization over the years. When we went for the first time, even before the pandemic, we were really amazed! Now we prefer other spaces.

Vegetarian options: You can ask to adapt some dishes.

The best Japanese restaurants in the north of Portugal. Beautiful à la carte selection, very fresh products, refined dishes. You might even think you're in Japan a little. Some original creations like the smoked duck spring roll. We tested a selection ideal for sharing. The service is pleasant, smiling and efficient. It's nice to find a very good Japanese restaurant with reasonable prices. We will return there during our next visit to Braga.

Authentic Japanese food very well executed with fresh ingredients and impeccable presentation. We ordered a chirashi and a meat donburi and both were delicious.
The service wasn't perfect because the chirashi came well before the donburi.
The space is small, so it's best to make a reservation.
I can't wait to go back for a new experience.
ご馳走さまでした.

We had Michizaki on our list of restaurants to visit for a couple of years, but it had never been available. It was a good experience on all levels. The fact that the space is small helps the environment to be peaceful and we like that. We didn't know practically any of the dishes and so everything was a discovery.
We ordered miso soup, very pleasant. Some dough dumplings stuffed with octopus, very good too. Ebi Shumai, some steamed shrimp bundles, equally recommended. We also ordered Kakuni Bao, which despite being delicious, I confess that I expected the meat to be shredded and not a piece of pork, however, very tasty. And finally, a sautéed pasta with beef loin, this time, good but nothing special, it was a good end to the meal.
I can't say it was a stunning meal, because that's what Michelin-starred restaurants are for, but it's positive without a doubt and with a V in the back.

Unfortunately, the restaurant experience has been losing quality as it is increasingly closer to being a take-away format instead of being a restaurant format with a differentiated experience as it was in the past.

Best sushi in Braga. Even though it's expensive, it's always worth it!

Good, but I was expecting more.- Mackerel, lily, turbot, sea bass, salmon and sea bream nigiri: very good overall, the fish was quite fresh but personally it lacked Wasabi and the orcas were a little big and therefore difficult to eat- Salmon Maki Shake: perfect, nothing to complain about (apart from the lack of Wasabi, but we could add it when eating)- Onigiri: very tasty salmon, wrapped in seaweed shavings, in my opinion it lacked sesame- Gyu Niku Yakisoba: ok, it lacked a little flavor and the dough was a little soft- Miso tori ramen (special): I didn't love the flavor initially, it just tasted like the meat, it had a lot of sweet corn and little broth, it was served in a small bowl and with spicy sauce on the side. It got better when I added all the spice to the bowl (I understand they want to keep the flavor milder to please those who don't like strong flavors but I think it ends up taking away from the experience of enjoying a dish with the balance given by the chef - maybe it was It's better to ask whether you like it spicy or not and it's up to the chef to adjust the flavor accordingly)- Sake sangria: perfect (sweet, lemon and mint flavor)- Sesame fondant: I really liked it, it could have a slightly more intense flavor- Chocolate harumaki: good but tasted a littleService is quick, sometimes too quick, I think it would be good for them to explain the items when they deliver the dishes, but friendly. Nice atmosphere but could be more immersive. They also served sweet corn tempura as a house offering.

For the first experience and what was said, I expected more. The price/quality ratio is good, but I don't think it deserves the score given to it, considering other Asian restaurants. It wouldn't even reach a 4.5.We ordered take out and the hot dishes arrived lukewarm.I recommend the Kakuni Bao, as it is very tasty, good quality ingredients, well seasoned, fluffy and melts in your mouth. The Bento Box pieces are good and of good quality for the price. The Takoyaki are also very good, with a well-filled interior, but they lack Japanese mayonnaise. The Ebi Yakisoba left a lot to be desired due to its excessive oiliness and lack of flavor. And the dish that disappointed me the most and that doesn't do justice to the traditional South Korean kimchi, Buta Kimchi. Hard, fatty and flavorless meat, as well as kimchi, flavorless, spicy… Disappointing! Which led me to think that perhaps out of fear that the Portuguese people are not used to well-seasoned food, they don't give the dishes the proper flavor, that refined, well-seasoned flavor of Asian dishes. Which is a shame, as the experience would be much better.

We shared several small hot dishes, sashimi and nigiri. The vegetable and shrimp tempura was impeccable, however the option of having to choose just one vegetable is a bit reductive. In our case, we chose shitake mushrooms. We ate the Shake at Karashi and did it again, it was excellent. The chicken gyozas left something to be desired, I expected more. They looked like gyoza from the package. We ate lily mackerel and turbot sashimi. The turbot was a little dry, the mackerel nigiri was great. We ate takoyaki and they were good. We finished with kakuni bao which we found too vinegary, you couldn't taste the pork. It wasn't balanced. Returning but expected more.
