Spectacular, dream with divine dreams typical food, well seasoned homemade, picturesque place without luxury but the important thing is really the gastronomic experience

Very tasty food. With just the right amount of seasoning. It’s difficult to choose the best dish, but beans with intestines are perfect!

This restaurant was an awesome find. The service is excellent, the waitstaff are attentive and engaging. The menu has lots to choose from. Food came out fast and was delicious. We will definitely visit again.

My dinner at Chiveve was amazing. It was flavourful, with good portion sizes and was absolutely delicious. I had the empanadas and fried shrimp with rice and chips, and I left no crumbs on the plate. I will definitely return if I’m in Lisbon again!

What a wonderful, warm and friendly place with absolutely delicious food and excellent service. Busy but never felt rushed or overlooked. I don’t know how they do it but everything felt like a well choreographed party. I felt like I was at a good friends home and just told to sit back and relax. Felt so well taken care of. And the food…yum! The chilies were a crowning touch on my shrimp/okra curry. Great value too. Highly recommend!

I never had food from Mozambique before, but I was very impressed. The service was awesome - they really made you feel welcome and special. And the food was excellent - varying levels of spiciness depending on how hot or mild you like your food and everything we ordered was delicious. And the fruit pudding for dessert was awesome. I definitely would go back and recommend Chiveve.

Very outdated place. We went in because it was full (of Portuguese). We ordered typical braga cod. It was quite oily, and the next day, those of us who tried it, had decomposition. So surely, the cod was not in a good state... The fillet was ok. But they charged us €2 for a couple of butters, the typical ones that they put you in hotels for breakfast, a robbery. You can't pay with a card, everything in cash, these days...Pay a little more and go somewhere else...

(Translated by Google) The cod in Braga, acceptable, and the wonderful beer (of course, that's not the restaurant's merit..., it was from bottles????)...the children's fillets were scarce and dry. Oily fries. They don't let you pay with a card and the account is charged however you want, it put in the letter that the cod was 22 and they charged us 24. Tourists are not stupid. We just do it to ourselves. The place from 50 years ago without fixing it does not look good... It is better to pay a little more and eat better. No recomendable.

If Jesus came to Lisbon, I would invite him to have dinner at Chiveve.

(Translated by Google) A good tasca, at a fair price, in a good location! It doesn't get 5 stars for the space, which being humble is in need of some renovation; and for the servings, which despite being in the north are not large. We ordered the lamb and it was amazing! It only took a little butter out of the rice.

One of the most delightful and unique places we have stayed in the last few times. The dishes prepared by Sheila are simply wonderful, taste and tradition blend perfectly. We enjoyed every detail of Sheila's cooking as well as Edner's friendliness and conversation. A place to come back to!
