Went to the restaurant and asked Chef Joaquim Correia to suggest a menu. He didn’t disappoint and prepare a starter platter (it changes often) with “Codfish quiche”, “Toast with pate”, “Chicken giblets”, “Codfish balls and Veal patties”, “Olives” and “Cheese and Jam”. After, he prepared a super juicy, tender Entrecôte! Was so full that no dessert was asked… A great restaurant to be visited several times!!
Great food, and nice selection of wine. Amazing value for money. The codfish with breadcrumbs is to die for…! The staff is welcoming (although their English proficiency may be limited…?). Ask for Quim (pronounced as “Keem”!) if you want some advice on the wine! He’s the owner, Chef and wine expert… ?
Great food for great prices. Meat was absolutely sublime. Service only in Portugese but nevertheless very friendly.
