The only thing I may mentioned is, I will prefer knowing sushi set at the very beginning so I have some ideas on the sushi set, though I may give the wrong signal saying “just do it” . Hence the sushi chef just started without a summary.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Superb from start to finish. If you love sushi and find yourself anywhere near Cascais, you should eat here. It is worth a detour. Delicious and different.

A disappointing experience with a bill of 520euros paid for four guests. Rushing us to order and finish, drinks were served after food was ordered even we asked twice for a glass of champagne, no possibility to repit a dish in the middle of dinner, and a lot of attitude and little understanding about what is a good dinner experience. I may not recommend it.

We found the tasting menu an exceptional experience, all of the dishes were delicious and quite special. The wine/sake tasting was superb. The service impeccable. The Kappo experience is exceptional - incredible food, great service and a relaxed ambiance. I have eaten at Kappo a couple of times now and I will never view sushi the same again. Every bite is a unique experience that will leave you wondering how something so simple could be so good. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth every euro? Absolutely!

An extraordinary, unique experience! The only criticism I have is regarding the portion sizes. Since Japanese is a very light cuisine, I feel the food on the Omakase menu is not enough to feel satiated. I was still hungry by the end!
