Don't trust the outside appearance. We had a phenomenal meal as a family of 4. It is the typical Portuguese restaurant of yesteryear where you eat simple, good and cheap. Price quality of 10.We ordered grilled cod, they put it with onion and olives and evoo, delicious. Also fillets with egg, grilled very tender. Some homemade fries and some very good roasted ones. All accompanied by salad and rice.As a starter we ordered chorizo and it is the type of sausage loin in Spain.The chocolate mousse for dessert was also very good.Recommended

Superb historic establishment for its meat and superb tasty grilled meats...The meat is always so good and always beautifully grilled and tender....This taste is magical.The elders will tell you that it was better before and it's true...There are a lot of people, even if you don't need to book (the rooms are huge and the terrace under the vines, too ..), the room is a bit noisy, the service is now a bit rushed and the waiters forget a bit the bread or the wine or the bottle of water....We have the impression that the turnover now prevails, which has never been the case and that there is a lack of people in the room.....It's a shame, it's my feeling and the other customers say the same thing....We would like to see the creator come back and take things in hand, if it continues, in two years there will be no more customers (and yet we eat admirably well) because there are now other establishments of the same guy in Bragança and very good ones...But I would go back...
