The broth is also very good.Very friendly staff and quick service.It's a shame the menu no longer includes Onigiri, as I would have liked to try it.Although I found it a little expensive, it is a restaurant I would return to and recommend in Coimbra.“

“After a long drive back to Coimbra in the rain we had a sushi craving, and Peculiar came to mind. We pulled up and it seemed packed, but at the front desk they found us a table almost immediately! Service was very nice, very kind! As sushi takes a bit to prep and the place was quite full the wait was a bit long.My advice? Get some starters to keep you busy while the sushi plates are taken care of. That will improve your experience, for sure.Food was excellent and some of the sushi pieces were mind-blowing. Service could be improved, I think they could create a suitable sheet for orders instead of giving a blank sheet of paper and a pencil to write order numbers.
