The food has nothing to do with when Mrs. Fernanda was there, it is very different for the worse.

A traditional food menu. Easter day we were served a roast goat with roast potatoes and white rice and greens. A good house wine from the region (Bucelas area). The desserts are made by the ladies of the house, at least the Toucinho do Céu and the Chocolate Mousse I recommend. Starters with sausages, sausage, farinheira, butter, fresh cheese and olives and a bread basket. Excellent service from Miss Catarina from the day of booking until reception. The staff is young and friendly. You'll have to come back to enjoy the other delicacies. I recommend it without a doubt.

Easter lunch at Barrete Saloio, a restaurant right in the center of Vila de Bucelas. A space with rustic decor, very friendly and fast service. The starter came with Bread, Olives, Paté and small bowls with Sausage and Farinheira. For the main dish, the house specialty, Oven-Roasted Goat accompanied by Roasted Potatoes, Greens and Rice to which was added a well-seasoned Mixed Salad. The Cabrito was well prepared, as were its side dishes. I finished with a good Toucinho do Céu. Meal accompanied by House Red Wine. €25 per person.

Lunch, 2 people chose to choose two dishes to share. The roast cod, very good and the rib rice with greens, good, different and after eating the cod... excellent place to return without a doubt, average prices for the service and quality.

The welcome from the owner of the restaurant was excellent, the advice for both food and "arinto" was very good. It was an excellent gastronomic experience, magnificent atmosphere, I recommend it.

Bad experience. 45 minutes waiting since orders were placed; tough goat; the house specialty had cinnamon in the rice??? It felt like I was eating rice pudding with the rib... in my opinion, a bad
