As I passed along the road, it seemed like I was approaching a house that was somewhat 'poorly treated' by the weather.
But after entering the park I realized why friends told me it was more than a restaurant... It's an experience, in a rustic setting so close to Lisbon, that reminds us of some spots in more rural Portugal.
The hot day helped us to appreciate the fresh white wine, and the company, the friendliness of those serving, to appreciate the chicken and rabbit slices, whose sauce is delicious, which makes us finish all the fries they brought to the table.

“Casal Minhoto is an excellent option for a quality meal in the good Portuguese way. In addition to being one of the few restaurants in Póvoa de Santa Iria, it is a restaurant full of quality.
The last time we were there it was full and they gave us a 40 minute wait and accepted our name on the list. They handed us the menu and we were able to place our order before sitting down.
We ordered cockles, with toasted bread and garlic butter on the side, which was great, and fried turbot with greens rice.
