Fantastic dinner last night at Bombordo, with wonderful service, can't wait to go again. Had amazing fried prawns, perfectly cooked in one of the best sauces I have had in The Algarve. Great salad and perfect fries, my all time fav dinner - I was super happy, thank you Bombordo :-)

We have been coming to Bombordo since the restaurant first opened. And we are always overwhelmed by the warm welcome we receive by the lovely staff who serve the most amazing food. The food is beautifully cooked with the freshest of ingredients. The care taken to present the food on the plate. We have NEVER had a bad meal. It’s always faultless and we leave with satisfied tummies and big smiles. Thank you Bombordo.

This is a second visit for us and we were really looking forward to a good meal. We arrived on time at 8pm and were sat straight away. This is where the problems started. The restaurant was busy and we expected a short wait but it took ages for even the cover to arrive. Then we waited and waited and eventually food was presented. By now we’d been at the place over one and a half hours. This would have been overlooked had the food been good but alas my wife’s cod gratin was horrible without any sauce and the cod had dissolved into a mush. My sea bass, although good, the vegetables were overcooked and mushy. Perhaps they were having an off night but we won’t return.

Fabulous food, beautifully presented, great atmosphere. First time for us but will be a regular going forward. Adding to our list of higher end restaurants in Luz, Burgau abd Salema.

We had a very good meal.The service was super friendly and the place exudes luxury.
A spectacular place to enjoy lunch/dinner. Cataplana is the specialty of the house. In this case, we chose another approach. The employees are amazing and extremely friendly. Unfortunately the wines are too expensive for the listed brands however sangria is a good alternative.

Very clean and cozy restaurant with a maritime flair right on the main street. The food was also very good! The Cataplana for 2 people is particularly recommended, but the other fish dishes are also convincing. Add the white wine of the house and the Mediterranean dinner is ready.
Vegetarian options: There is a small selection of vegetarian dishes. However, we have not tested it.
Parking: There are some free parking spaces on the street, otherwise in the neighboring streets. You can find something with a bit of searching.
