“Arrived 20 minutes before our reservation and our table was already free. The service was very friendly from the start and downplayed any disruptions with funny jokes. The food was great and was delivered quickly. All of the food tasted fresh and was very delicious. Always ask about vegetarian items as they are not always shown correctly on the menu.“

After a year we were here again and were again very excited that we came two days in a row. ? ✨️

?The dishes arrived after an amazing 10-15 minutes and tasted very good. ? I personally really liked the burger with tomato mozzarella ("Milano") as it has a tasty patty and is served with just one slice of bread instead of two standard burger buns. "Sweet Carrapateira" is also recommended and "Classic Large Burger" was also good. You can't say anything about the large sangria? with fruit for €5♡!
With two burgers, a Fanta, a sangria, two pieces of cake and a tip, we came to €40, which is worth mentioning!

? The service was attentive and friendly. Since the restaurant is on a street, parking spaces are limited, but you can always find something nearby. Otherwise you can sit both outside and inside, barrier-free. Seating is limited, but there is still the option to wait on the walls or benches with service.

“The staff is very friendly and gives good advice. Each dish is made with fresh, quality products. Generous dishes!
We tasted the fish and the meat: both were really great.
For dessert: Special mention for the limencello almond tart (which is also gluten-free).
If you go to Sagres: you have to stop here for a culinary stopover!

From the starter (mussels) to the main course with fish and meat skewers to the creme Catalan and apple pie, everything was simply fantastic. The menu is in Portuguese, French, English and German. “Grill restaurant with local and fresh products. Very good quality meats, not to mention the fish and the small market they have right when you enter the restaurant. You ensure fresh fish of the day cooked on the grill. Very attentive and helpful service looking for solutions so that the wait is minimal before sitting down.
The decoration is quite faithful to Portuguese traditions.

From the dishes: starter with grilled chorizo, to eat: delicious frango, the camarao skewer a delight and the meat spectacular. We tried rib eye with pepper sauce, spectacular. Perhaps it could have been accompanied on the plate but to put something to improve.
And we chose red wine from Alentejo, with a pretty good quality-price ratio.

“Authentic fish restaurant. You want to eat excellent fresh and grilled fish, it’s here! This is the second time we have come back in 5 years. Still so good! Be careful, the address is much better known than before... The wait is possible but worth it.“

“Our favorite restaurant in Portugal. We called and made a reservation in advance as that appears to be required. My husband loved the cream of spinach soup and the pork tenderloin with orange sauce and I enjoyed the filet with an olive oil rosemary sauce. We also both liked the salad they served with the meal. We ordered nachos with guacamole, a burger and a pizza.

The guacamole was very delicious, it was homemade. The normal burger and pizza.

“We had dinner there whilst on holiday. It's a very nice family run restaurant. We all loved our food. Fillet steak was perfectly cooked as requested (medium rare) and was one of the best ones I have ever had.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
They produce their own wine, we bought two bottles to take with us.
