Service is awful to almost dismissive. No greeting when you walk in but I gave it the benefit of doubt. I shouldn't of bothered. Drinks ordered, one of us didn't even get a glass.
The starters were awful and believe the sauces for the mains are from jars. The chicken was bouncy. This a truly disappointing Indian

This place used to be good a few years ago, I guess it sold as it’s now absolutely terrible, had a awful meal here in Nov 23 and tried again yesterday just in case it was one off, but no. By far the worst Indian food I ever been served, absolute joke, stupidly salty bhuna, nan bread was a joke, not nan bread. Biriani tasted like something a child had made out of rice and frozen veg. Shameful tourist trap now

This is not a restaurant but a cafe. Drunk falling screaming people. Only ate a starter, but had to pay for everything, even though we had only drunk a glass from the bottle of wine. Never, never again

We called here on the off chance, we had a great welcome, on the recommendation of the waiter I went with a lamb dish which was beyond expectation, the food was fresh, cooked to order, full of flavour and everything you’d expect from a great Indian sit down meal, our waiter was so friendly and accommodating he really made us feel welcome, all in all a great place to eat in Bergau if you want something a bit spicy or are craving a bit of Indian cuisine.
We had a main meal each, including rice and bread, two rounds of drinks for under €45, absolute bargain.
