Cozy environment. Reasonable prices. Little employee friendliness. We ordered a chocolate mousse which was watery.

I could write a lot of things, but in fact it is a typical Alentejo restaurant, the gentleman is very helpful, the food looks, it is brutal. In terms of food, it's actually the best I've ever had, dogfish soup is just a dream and everything else isn't far behind. It is indeed a restaurant to return to!

The space is welcoming, simple and traditional - very pleasant, without luxuries. The food, although not extraordinary, is well prepared. However, the service.... One person for the entire space, and despite being friendly, the man is not very communicative. It was a pleasant experience, but I advise you not to have “too high” expectations! It's good to take your time, take your time to talk...

The Portuguese Stew was very good and the Pork Queixadas excellent! The house wine is very good, the service is efficient and the decor is really cute! We will come back!

Wonderful restaurant...!!! The best choice in Cabeço de Vide...!!! Typically Alentejo dishes with a very good quality/price ratio! The service is excellent and at the end of the meal we are entitled to a digestive offered by the owner...!!! This is one of those that will be back...!!!

Delicious food, slightly slow service (no big deal), very appropriate decor, and exemplary cleanliness. The desserts (any of the ones available) are some of the best I've ever tried.I especially recommend the Portuguese stew on Wednesdays.

Traditional restaurant, old but genuine decor, with a typically Alentejo menu, unpretentious, honest and with a good value for money. The quality can put many trendy restaurants to shame. Water pudding is the house's traditional cake.

The worst restaurant I've ever been in without the minimum of quality nor the wine was good

I can't say anything less positive. We arrived late, we ordered octopus à lagareiro and I thought " this is going to take a lot of time"... nothing!! Fast, attentive service, with conventual sweets as you like, and at the end a nice digestif is offered. Top
