I go to places mainly for what matters, the quality of the traditional food. Without pretentiousness, well made with quality products is the most important thing. If this is combined with a welcoming atmosphere, where we feel good, without luxuries, just enough, then we are in an exceptional location. Taberna das Oliveiras just needs to improve this atmosphere. On these cold days, a fireplace was lit, with more sophisticated tables and chairs, a more pronounced wall decoration and this was an establishment off the beaten path of excellence. The food, however, excellent! Grilled cod with smashed potatoes, excellent in quantity and quality, equally good picanha. Excellent house green white wine! About, it's simple, adequate price. Familiar and with the potential to grow if they pay attention to certain details. Outside, I imagine it would be delicious to eat on hot days!
