We come here to eat his world famous fish soup. It’s one of my favourites on the island. Our party of 8 had cereal dishes, but was not to our standards the steaks were over cooked, fish filets were less than average and the octopus was not great either.

Quality, I went with my girlfriend and they treated us like real kings, great fish, incredible wine and very good desserts

We tried to have lunch at this restaurant but were unable to. The staff completely ignored our arrival, despite the opening hours of the establishment, and continued to drink coffee right in the restaurant hall.
We said hello, waited at the counter for several minutes, then took the menu ourselves, walked closer to the employees drinking coffee and asked if the restaurant was open? They answered yes and continued their conversation without making any attempt to serve us. What was that all about??
Of course, we didn't dine here.
I would like to note that there is a bar (on the street) on the territory where the restaurant is located. Being very hungry, we went there - and there we were served with lightning speed and super-friendly. If these two establishments are owned by the same owner, he should definitely discuss the behavior strategy with the staff, this was unacceptable.

The octopus was the biggest shit in the entire Atlantic Ocean. The funny thing is that they recommend it on the menu, but when you order it it smells bad and tastes sour.
On top of that, when I tell the waiter, he says that the octopus in the restaurant is very bad.
Total 21 euros for an inedible dish. There was a waiter on top who you called him and he didn't even look at you because he thought he was Anuel AA.
It is true that later we were served by a friendlier person who was the one who told us about the octopus but it was no longer on the table and had not been tasted.
Ultimately a shame to sacrifice an octopus for that.
Well, I forgot the beef, which seemed like a prize for the greatest number of nerves in a steak ever found.

Amazing local Azorean dining! Fantastic service, and relatively quick. The food was so delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Kids menu was great and the desserts were a must have!
