We had put it on our list of new experiences, the rest of Cairo had good references and we decided to have lunch on Saturday. The restaurant is welcoming and the decor is pleasant and takes us back to all those Indiana Jones movies, we go in and feel at home. We ate good Egyptian food with delicious hibiscus tea and delicious coconut baklava…it was wonderful. The sixth star goes to those who served us with great friendliness, kindness and a joy that shines in our eyes. Gratitude!!!

We went there spontaneously looking for a gluten-free meal because I have celiac disease. The owner was very knowledgeable and was able to easily show me several options on the menu, including some vegetarian ones. The food was very tasty and I had no problems afterwards. Only the portions were a bit small for the price. If you're hungry, you should order an appetizer.

Excellent gastronomic experience! Fantastic food and atmosphere! We were received very well, the service was very attentive, always with an explanation of all the dishes. Notorious dedication and love in what they were presenting. Without a doubt to repeat!!!
We had a fabulous dinner tonite. First time but definitely not the last. The service was amazing she helped a couple Americans navigate through the menu. One thing that melted our hearts, we gave her the money and she didn’t have the change so she said next time you come around we can give the change becouse she couldn’t break a twenty. Unbelievable never in America would this happen. Thank you and we will return.

The food was very good, but the problem came when it came to paying. We ordered some starters and the waitress explained to us that the three sauces made up one dish, but we had to pay for them separately, and also for the bread. The portions are sufficient, but it is a little expensive, and for the same price you can eat more in other typical restaurants in the area. Another problem is that you do not have a card machine to pay.I edit the review, since the owner has responded: it is not that the prices are not detailed, but that, when we arrived at the restaurant and made recommendations about the food, we were offered one thing and charged for another.Many times it is thought that foreigners who go to restaurant services are tourists, or stupid, or that we do not speak the language of the place, or everything at the same time. Well in this case, no. My review is clear: the food was good, there was no dataphone and we were charged triple because they told us that the three dishes we ordered on the house's recommendation were one, and that is where the error lies.The mistake comes from the house, and posting a comment trying to pass it off as our mistake, for not having read the letter, is not having understood anything, nor wanting to resolve anything, nor having the slightest sense of responsibility for facing consumers.
