A few days ago, we had lunch here. As usual, we opted for the set menu, which includes everything in the price. However, when we received the bill, it was very high. We went to inquire, and the owner kept arguing and lying to us. First, they said that these set menus were only for employees and not for tourists. When we pointed out that this was not true, as we have been coming to Portugal for over 30 years and had never heard this before, they changed their story and said it was our fault for not mentioning it. Then, they claimed it was because the waitress didn’t speak English, but we had ordered in Portuguese. In the end, they had no choice but to reduce the bill from 88 euros to 62 euros. The owner of this restaurant is trying to scam people! In over 30 years in Portugal, I have never experienced anything like this! I was very angry and disappointed! If you don’t know Portugal well or don’t speak the language, definitely stay away from here!

I went to the restaurant to listen to fado on a Friday. I paid 28 euros and they didn't want to issue a receipt. Too much noise for the fado atmosphere. Very friendly wait staff

Our group was very large and, even so, there were no problems. The service was efficient and the food was good and in large quantities. There is always a bit of noise because it is a very large restaurant, with a lot of people, particularly groups.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Food typical Portuguese. Very good value. We had a dose between us and could barely finish the beef with mushroom sauce. With a bottle of wine, bread and olives, main course, dessert, coffee and two brandys, our bill was only €32.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of children eating there. Seems to be a restaurant that caters for family celebrations.
