We were looking for a cool drink and a shady spot. We found cold beer, delicious poncha and warm hospitality. The owner of the bar is obviously a Cristiano Ronaldo fan through and through. We'll definitely come back again! 5*+
Very authentic pub with very good Poncha and Nikita. You should definitely go to the pub. A gem for CR7 fans. Offers much more than the museum in Funcal.

One thing Madeira is famous for is its legendary Poncha. The best Poncha will always be found away from the center of Funchal and in the little fishing villages where it originated.
The bar is also known as the "original Poncha bar." I have no clue if that is true or just great self-promotion. But the Poncha here is spot on! They even have one that is unique to their bar and is a "secret" recipe, and it is very good.
