Love this little bar, though it’s actually huge inside. Very friendly service, toasted cheese and onion sandwich and frites was perfect for a light lunch. Highly recommended as somewhere to watch the world hurrying by.

Had a late lunch here after walking from Funchal. Great spot to watch the comings and goings. Prompt service. Nice Sangria, good food, good portions. Did the job to recover from our walk and to replenish us for the walk back.

Awful food and poor service. Our food was cold and tasteless and the guy that served us completely uninterested in his job. If he hates being a waiter so much he should move in and let someone that want to do it work there.

Good restaurant with good prices and good quality. One of the specialities is the Black scabbardfish which is a very common delicacy in the Madeira. It's a very good place for enjoying a meal.

Parking: Give couple of cents to this guys there so they can have a beer or food and they will help you to park and look after your car.

Best food in Madeira so far, it is our 3rd day. We ordered cod fish and scabar + limpets.Had my first Nikita, it is ice-cream with beer and wine. Great carpirinia with maracuya

Tourist trap restaurant. Fish soup took 30 minutes (not a a very busy time) and was served lukewarm. I suspect it was frozen and then microwaved. Watery (no roux) and no flavor. I would not return here.
Sete Mares in Camara de Lobos is great, please do not get confuse with Sete Mares in Funchal, they are part of the same owner but service is from Great to Bad in the same orders. In Camara de Lobos staff are friendly and welcoming, sometimes staff from Funchal are here to help but wish they learn something. The Poncha a Pescadir is probably the best you can get in Madeira. Drinks are fantastic and prompt orders are taken and fast drinks delivery. Poncha a Peacador or Regional Limao, Nikita de Maracuja, they are the best of many drinks served here. Great space, lovely staff and good location.

Worst experience! Please do yourself a favor and go to another place! The server Elvio was rude and in a very bad mood and myself and my entire family had to leave the restaurant for his bad mattersToo many good places around to eat and drink in a place where the customer service is the worse

Stopped here for a couple of drinks - cocktails are tasty and reasonably priced, service friendly. Drinks come with the obligatory snacks (lupin beans, peanuts) and the fried maize we ordered was tasty too. Outside seating is great to watch the world go by!
