After visiting the viewpoint and looking down through the glass floor we needed a quick drink and called into the cafe. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Nice hot coffee and a nice selection of cold beers! Plenty of inside and outside tables and chairs.
Don't listen to the bad ratings. The pastry was very good, the lemon cake the best we ever had! Homemade lemonade is very good too, if you like natural taste without much sugar. Prices are completely normal compared to Germany, where we come from, especially considering this is a tourist hotspot. Staff is caring and not less friendly as the ones you find in funchal or elsewhere.
