Everything is very good, except the cod. (Dry and very stale). Maybe we had bad luck, the rest, very good. Recommendable.

Food is really good. Unfortunately, the waiters don't make you feel welcome. The boss looks at you very grimly instead of smiling.

It was a super pleasant experience. We booked a table as we didn't know if it would be full at lunch time.
In terms of menu, the chef's suggestion wasn't on the menu but we followed it because it's a dish I love: tuna belly. It came in a super cute little boat and each belly was well composed.
Super well made and good presentation.
The swordfish with passion fruit was also good.
Dessert was the volcano, which is like a petit gâteau and it was wonderful.
I highly recommend it!!!
Parking: Very close by there is a public car park for which you must pay a parking fee.

Excellent choice, best restaurant we ate at, fair price-quality.
Fish - tuna belly - suggestion of the day, fresh, very generous portion, vegetables on point.
Meat - beef loin with 3 pepper sauce, balanced, cooked to order, well prepared accompaniments.
Dessert - chocolate volcano - homemade petit gateau with vanilla ice cream and notes of red fruits.
It deserves a repeat visit to the island.

As our favorite spot in Câmara de Lobos was closed and following some positive and consistent reviews, we went to this restaurant for lunch. Even without a reservation it was no problem finding a table and we were served immediately. We chose samosas for starters, which were by far the best dish served and we chose the options of the day recommended by the chef (tuna belly for two and snapper fillet for the third guest). With no wine list, I was asked to choose one of the wines on display, which I did.
The meal was merely acceptable, but with nothing to justify it more than that. The tuna was overcooked, that is, a little beyond the doneness we like. I accept the justification that the belly cannot be braised due to the associated risk of poisoning, I also accept that we do not require any special cooking point, but it should also be the chef's and employee's understanding that the belly can be cooked safely and with texture juicier, for example confit or fried in olive oil at low temperature.
Now, let's get to what really upset me.
It's a fact that I don't mind paying any bill, as long as it's in line with what they serve me, and possibly also in line with the space (I don't expect to pay a small bill in a Michelin restaurant, obviously), but I hate being treated like an idiot tourist when I'm in my own land. I add that I also didn't ask for any price, neither for the wine nor for the dishes, with the exception of the price of the starters which was duly stated on the menu. Therefore, a bill of €114 for 3 people is likely to be considered exaggerated, as the price of the tuna belly (€22.50 per person and the snapper fillet €25.00 per person) seemed to me to be an exaggeration. (overpriced) for what other fish restaurants at the same level offer. Nothing to say about the cost of the wine, because even though they didn't inform me of its price, I was fully aware that the quality of the nectar justified what I paid.
Therefore, a message for the restaurant: Please review the pricing policy, as wanting to get everything at once by exploiting tourists may not be a good policy as this scares away good local customers.
And even if they are justified, we will only return to this restaurant when confirmed by independent sources who have reviewed the problems detected.

Food (twice risotto, once salad and once salmon) were first class, as was the service! You sit a little away from the street on a terrace where it is very quiet. Absolutely recommended!

Very good restaurant! With mainly seafood products, in the heart of the port of Camara de Lobos. Careful service, a beautiful menu and very well cooked and processed products, more so than in most other restaurants..

The food is very good and the service is professional. The tables are beautifully set and I really like the interior of the restaurant. There is a large selection of food and drinks. I think the drinks are a bit upscale compared to the food. Overall, it was I am very satisfied and can recommend the restaurant.
