Good traditional place to eat. We tried the regional espetada with cooked potato and the bolo du caco, to share. Everything is very good. The espetada comes with 6 good-sized pieces. And the serving of potatoes seen in the photo is the medium size. Strong quality/price portions.
Additionally, the restaurant has beautiful views.
Parking: There is space for 6-7 cars. We went during the week and parked without a problem.

The restaurant is located several hundred meters above sea level and its greatest advantage is the spectacular view. You can dine on the terrace, which offers a panoramic view of Funchal and the surrounding area. The kitchen serves Portuguese dishes, but the food could be tastier. The service was nice, but there was a mistake in our order.

The meat you get with the steak and egg dish brought the rating down dramatically. The meat is way too cooked and hard. The egg was somewhat ok, but the chicken skewer was a disaster. The chicken was burnt and wasn't seasoned enough. The fries taste like McDonald's: okay at first, but then catastrophic when they're cold! The fillet skewer and herb bread, on the other hand, was a 100/10. The meat was done to perfection, it felt so perfect and tender. The bread is also really fluffy and absolutely indescribably delicious! Unfortunately there were more negative dishes than positive ones, hence only 3/5 stars.

This is my favorite restaurant because it is simple, basic, familiar and absolutely delicious. The views from the viewpoint are enviable, providing an incredible setting. The meat on the kebab is top notch, as is the chicken, both prepared to perfection. The attention is very kind, making the experience even better. And we don't even need to talk about the posters, which are incredible ?. It is the ideal place for a tasty meal in a welcoming atmosphere.

Had this restaurant recommended by a local Taxi driver - as we wanted a decent place for genuine espatada. What a great recommendation! ??. Table by the window with sensational views over Funchal, really engaging waiting staff, quick service, and 3x fabulous meals consisting of charcoal-grilled chicken, beef, and fillet steak - all served on the traditional (long vertical) skewer. No hesitation in recommending this place.

The chicken was burnt, just chicken bones in literally 3 bites. The steak was also burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. The additives are terribly fatty. Alcohol is the same everywhere. We waited 15 minutes for the menu even though the place was almost empty. One star is only deserved for the view from the terrace
