The restaurant is located several hundred meters above sea level and its greatest advantage is the spectacular view. You can dine on the terrace, which offers a panoramic view of Funchal and the surrounding area. The kitchen serves Portuguese dishes, but the food could be tastier. The service was nice, but there was a mistake in our order.
The meat you get with the steak and egg dish brought the rating down dramatically. The meat is way too cooked and hard. The egg was somewhat ok, but the chicken skewer was a disaster. The chicken was burnt and wasn't seasoned enough. The fries taste like McDonald's: okay at first, but then catastrophic when they're cold! The espetada comes with 6 good-sized pieces. And the serving of potatoes seen in the photo is the medium size. Strong quality/price portions.
Additionally, the restaurant has beautiful views.
Parking: There is space for 6-7 cars. We went during the week and parked without a problem.
