Probably my favorite restaurant in Madeira. The food is amazing, the service is quick and polite and the atmosphere is relaxed (mainly in the upstairs terrace). I go there whenever I can, and every time, the food is delicious. A must try - the limpets in garlic butter.

We had the classic scabbardfish, once with vegetables and potatoes and once with fries and salad. The fish was very tender and extremely tasty. The fries were nothing earth-shattering but definitely tasty. The same applies to the vegetables and potatoes. The service and pricing were average, which we've seen almost everywhere in this place so far.

It was a 10/10 from start to finish. Warm welcome, impeccable service (served by Tomas, who was incredibly kind and made the effort to speak to us in French), location on the upper terrace with a view of the port and delicious dishes from starter to dessert. The fresh black scabbard fish being the specialty was exquisite. All this for very very reasonable prices. We would have returned if our stay had been longer. Go there with your eyes closed, I really recommend!!!

Disappointing visit. We chose the restaurant because of the good reviews. Unfortunately just mediocre. You have the feeling that you want to be more than what is actually delivered to your plate in terms of quality and taste. Other locations offer more for a comparable price.

We were promised the front table on the terrace, where we sat down in the presence of the waiter. He came back after a few minutes and said we should change tables, especially since the reservation had come. Although they apparently only made a reservation an hour later. Then we left. Furthermore, this waiter was extremely unfriendly.
The importance of customer friendliness and good service is apparently not the focus here. Extremely sad and not recommended!

After a long walk from Funchal, we chose this restaurant for a late lunch. We were pleasantly surprised by the large selection of food and drinks. We chose the Paella with fish and seafood. I can recommend it, excellent. The environment is pleasant, both on the terrace and on the promenade. Toilets clean and functional.

A lovely café for just a cup of coffee or to dine with the choice of seating inside or on their sunny terrace.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. Food is good and the portions just right. Specifically the chips were excellent and the seafood paella (min 2 persons) very tempting.
I will definately return
