Probably my favorite restaurant in Madeira. The food is amazing, the service is quick and polite and the atmosphere is relaxed (mainly in the upstairs terrace). I go there whenever I can, and every time, the food is delicious. A must try - the limpets in garlic butter.
I had lunch of bacalhau a bras. For a starter I had garlic bread made with the traditional Madeira bread. Both dishes were delicious. The restaurant setting was delightful, and the staff friendly. I would recommend...
We had the classic scabbardfish, once with vegetables and potatoes and once with fries and salad. The fish was very tender and extremely tasty. The fries were nothing earth-shattering but definitely tasty. The same applies to the vegetables and potatoes. The service and pricing were average, which we've seen almost everywhere in this place so far.
