Bar do Henrique

Nice place on the beautiful beach of Porto Santo. Simple, honest menu with tasty food. We were fans of this bar, around the corner from our hotel

The bar and food are ok, but they usually put the music really loud ruining the beach day for the public. They just don't turn it down, and I find this pretty disrespectfull. I also think their taste for music is rubish, but what do I know.

I share the same opinion that I have seen, correct beach bar, without waiting long. Of course, incredible sea views. To eat something the day you arrive on the island, that's right.

Last year, during the 11 days I was here, every day I had lunch at Bar do Henrique. The fillet in the bolo do caco as limpets is a little wonder. This year I even asked the employee to change the cook! When, to my surprise, he said yes. ..Nothing to do with last year's bar that was recommended to me. I spoke to a friend and she thought the same. It's a shame it's losing its qualities.

Place not to be missed in Porto Santo. We were on the beach and stayed here for a peaceful lunch, with a fantastic atmosphere and good food. I recommend it and would go back, without any doubt

De uitstraling en de service van de medewerkers waren dramatisch. Ze leken ongeïnteresseerd en te moe om iets te doen. De verveelde uitstraling en amper te woord staan vinden wij erg jammer. De hamburger was wel goed op smaak maar is dan alleen brood en vlees, verder niets. Dat ik twee sterren voor het eten geef, is omdat de hamburger wel op smaak was. De saus hebben we zelf van een andere tafel moeten pakken en kregen ook geen bestek. De octopus sandwich was taai en niet bijzonder. Ik laat zelden mijn eten staan, maar de sandwich heb ik niet opgegeten. Ronduit slecht en doe vooral moeite om deze tent voorbij te lopen als je iets wil eten, ik denk dat het niet veel slechter kan. Het uitzicht is mooi met de zee, maar die heb je ook echt op vele andere plekken op dit strand.

Beach bar with a fantastic location and an excellent cold beer and a good Caipirinha da Sofia to accompany a sword fillet sandwich in a carcass and not in a bolo do caco!!!
This whole environment becomes more special due to the friendliness and excellent service of Spencer, Skiny and young Natalie who are what this house needs to be light and equal to the landscape of Porto Santo ?
