“After a little motoring mishap, we remembered to stop by and 'try the cuisine' of this half-forgotten and unknown corner of Greater Porto.
The daily breading was bigger than any hand inside the restaurant/tasca and the bean rice was not far behind.
In terms of desserts, there is no special highlight, with house-made xiripiti accompanying the final coffee.
Coming back here to try the appetizers and other dishes on the menu.“

Friendliness from the restaurant owner who, as there was no ATM and seeing me confused, made his granddaughter's mbway available. The food is excellent with excellent seasoningThe tomato rice with naughty beans is delicious. The best is at the end €6.5 bread jug wine food platter and coffee.“

“Everyone must try or repeat Bifão.
Don't be shy.
It is a gastronomic wonder.
My 16-year-old son ate one dose, the remaining 4 of us ate another (but he is growing).
Another delight is the homemade chocolate mousse ?.
We've already eaten other things on the list but after a year this is the dish of choice.
We didn't order starters and afterwards there wasn't even time to take photos.
Parking: I always advise you to go early and if there are groups, share the vehicle.“

“Wine cellar with traditional cuisine. Octopus roasted in a wood oven with tentacles per person of generous size. Excellent sweet white green wine with a fruity flavor.
Nice orange and chocolate cake.
The price of the octopus is in line with the quality, however the dose for two people should not be the price of one times two, which makes the final bill a bit heavy. The prices for starters and other delicacies are balanced.
It is perhaps advisable to try it, starting with the house specialties, which are steak or cod.“

“Love this place! Exquisite, creative cuisine made with love for the local produce. But that’s not even the best part - the staff here is! Very knowledgeable, witty and courteous, and we really enjoyed the wine pairings that they recommended. Great value for money and definitely one of the most well-deserved additions to the Michelin guide. We are already planning our next visit to Porto to eat here while further exploring the city!“

“First day in Porto and immediately an unforgettable dining experience at Pátio 44. The staff was very kind and the service was quick. The presentation of the dishes was taken care of down to the smallest details. We followed the staff's advice and tried an appetizer each and a main course. The menu, as I understand it, varies depending on the seasonality of the products. Trust their taste: the chefs really know what they're doing! Each dish was balanced, fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend it to everyone.“

“Without a doubt, one of the best vegan restaurants in Porto. Food is incredible stuff going above and beyond and the ambience is also spot on . Of course I can recommend the traditional Portuguese dishes such as Francesinha. You really can’t go wrong in coming here.“

“I was there last week to visit the restaurant, I was amazed at the service
Meet the restaurant chef!
The food is spectacular!
(I will leave a small observation
The only thing missing is justice in the dishes
Increase the size of the prawns to be more visible on the plate, and the sirloin steak should be a little thicker)“

“Originally we went to Brasão Aliados, but we didn't have a reservation and it was full. However Brasão arranged for us to have a driver, Sérgio, to transport us to Brasão Antas. Sérgio was amazing, very friendly and attentive. We got a spot on the second-floor terrace, which was nice for a summer evening. We all had Francesinha which is a classic of Brasão, and I highly recommend. After our meal, Sérgio was ready to take us back to Aliados.
I can definitely recommend trying out Brasão (any of them) for a good meal with friends in a chill atmosphere.“

“Set up in a very simple way with tables, fridges and shelves with products to buy, the meal will be nothing simple. I had the francesihna and it was truly phenomenal. It had so many different layers of meat that filled me up with pure joy. The also have a different dish of the day for only 6euros.“

“Rafa is an absolute gem - he curates these tastings with so much passion and attention to detail that you'll be walking away with a newfound appreciation for wine (even IF you already very much appreciated wine before). He does an incredible job fostering a vibe that is both intimate and educational yet still very much unintimidating; by the end of the tasting, it feels like you're enjoying great wine/cheese with old friends at a small dinner party. If you're lucky enough to have an opportunity to snag some time with Rafa, don't even think twice and just book it! It'll be the highlight of your trip. And if it puts anything in perspective, I'm still texting Rafa about wines I'm enjoying in the States to this day ? He’s the best.“

“We used viamichelin website for a restaurant in Porto and found Apego. It was a good decision to go here, we enjoyed it very much. We took the 5 course tasting menu with pairing wines. Each course we found very tasteful, with the pairing wine further elevating the flavors. To us the key world was balance. Each course fitted nicely with the predecessing course. The crew was very nice, taking time to explain every dish and wine in both Portugese and (perfect) English and making us feel at home. A place we certainly recommend as the people here understand what tasting and pairing means!“

“We went to Aveiro on purpose to try the famous francesinha at Bufete Pós.
Personally, I loved the atmosphere, the service and the francesinha was 5*.
A typical restaurant (as it almost doesn't exist anymore) with lots of friendliness and quality.
It was at the top.
To be repeated without a shadow of a doubt.“

“Beautiful place with incredible views. The service was excellent. The francesinhas and craft beer are very good. The highlights, the potatoes with special sauce, an aioli that I have only eaten the same in a Tenerife guachinche and homemade potatoes, excellent. The place where we have eaten the best in the entire trip“

“We were looking for a little restaurant near the park and we were lucky enough to find this place. The kindness of the stuff was the very first green flag. “This family run business may look like a chain, but don't let their great marketing fool you! I was craving a good American style burger which can be hard to find outside the US. Thier menu had exactly what I was looking for! My burger was big and juicy and had great vegetables on it, exactly as I wished. They make the patties by hand. The crinkle cut fries are also an American favorite. Behind the counter and in the kitchen is a mom and son and others. It's so good and so well done I know they'll reach thier goal of opening other stores.“

“Someone said that this is an insider tip... totally right! Delicious food, great location and super nice service. The homemade lemonade was great and the risotto was highly recommended. The three of us with two small children only paid €70... crazy!
Vegetarian options: There are some.
Parking: The parking situation in Porto is chaotic anyway. Everyone parks where and how they want and no one cares about it.
Kid-friendliness: Super sweet, just like in all of Portugal.“

“I'm a customer, it's the 3rd time I've been to the place (I've only been there for about 1 month) even though it's a busy restaurant it's not noisy, both the owners and the staff are very friendly and helpful, homemade chips, constant sauce always the same They mix water or anything like that to make it work! And the ingredients are excellent!
Sooner or later I think they will expand the space, my recommendation is that they remove the TVs because they heat up the room a lot, I understand the initial concept of the restaurant, but now I think that the concept is the star of the French restaurant ✅
My favorite Frenchie is 5 ?“

“If you want to eat quality Portuguese food this is your place. The place is small but has a lot of charm. The cod is exquisite and the dishes are hearty.
The impeccable service, the treatment is unbeatable. He removed a plate from us so that it wouldn't get cold on the table, even when we saw that there was a lot of food, he removed one of the plates without a problem.
The key lime pie is delicious.
If I return to Porto I will repeat.“

“This is the best food I’ve eaten so far in Porto. You can taste it’s made with macrobiotic principles and care. The setting is lovely and the service was gentle and friendly. I’m not surprised it was full! We each had the set menu which is a soup and main (you can choose your main) and everything was delicious and healthy. The portions were very theory’s and I landed up taking some away for dinner. We also ordered a juice with Spiralina and it was literally the best tasting juice I’ve ever had! Highly recommend supporting them. Everything you’d want from a vegan restaurant.“

“Si estás en Oporto debes visitar obligatoriamente este lugar, la comida y la atención es espectacular. Probamos salpicón, croquetas se bacalao y de merluza, pulpo, y la francesinha que estaba buenísima. Los postres son caseros, es difícil de escoger. Nos sentimos muy bien atendidos por el camarero. “Best bifana I’ve had in Portugal. The employees are friendly and helpful, and patient with my poor Portuguese. We’ve come here many times, and it never disappoints.
Parking: Plenty of parking spaces across the street that you have to pay for during the week. The spaces could all be filled up though so you might have to find street parking elsewhere.“

“We went to dinner.
We were attended to by a very kind and attentive older gentleman. We wanted to try the 'francesinha'.
We told him it was to share and he served it to us on two different plates with an egg on each plate.
Although I didn't love the mix of ingredients, I have to say that it was well cooked and presented. My partner loved it.
Highly recommended.

“A house with careful and innovative preparation and a chef who is always available and concerned about his customers.I distinctly remember, the first time I went to have lunch at Oak, thinking that this space was unusual in the city of Paredes, and it almost seemed like it had come out of Porto. More than a year later, I am very happy to see that the Chef Vítor and Clara project is growing every day.The desserts, almost always made by Clara, are just to use the cliché of "eat and cry for more", with apple pie as the star of the menu.A clear choice with a practical and welcoming environment during the day and intimate at night.“

“Hit up this restaurant for quick snack after arriving at Campanhã station. Vibe out on the street was good as it was well attended. Inside had AC and lots of seating which was pleasant surprise from the busy street side tables.
The bifana tasted good but we don’t have any other bifanas to compare it to. It was sandwich only so sides need to be ordered with it. We ordered bovine and chicken burger meals and they arrived bunless keto-style. All good if you expect it but we sure didn’t!
Service was good, our server came back several times to check on us and spoke good English.“
