I found No Tacho on the internet looking for a good restaurant with cozinha portuguesa, near the Hotel Oslo. The restaurant is small and therefore not noisy. It is easy to have a conversation with your friend(s). The food and wine were quite good and the staff (owner?) was very helpful with explanations and suggestions from the menu. You will not be disappointed if you visit No Tacho!

Setting of the restaurant was cozy and small, with a beautiful wine compilation on the walls behind the bar and on the wall. For a lady on her own, I felt welcome and understood. Great food and delicious wine. The company that joined me afterwards was extremely welcome and fun too. Thank you for a well rounded evening.

This place provides an unique experience with true Portuguese meals excellently cooked and served…secret spot for insider to enjoy great food and a variety of diffferent wines???? I can highly recommend this restaurant for delicious moments

The food was outstanding! The presentation was great and the flavors were wonderful. We had a green salad with a delicious dressing and big enough for 2 to share. We had the rice with bacalhau which was delicious. We also had the octopus which was tender. The dessert of rice pudding with a lemon foam was fantastic and unique! The servers were very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant. Make reservations since it is a small place.
