During our christmas holiday we visited La Terraça several times for dinner. We enjoyed our evenings there with nice staff and good food at reasonable prices. Would highly recommend, to go there, when in Caniço.

My husband and I ate at this lovely restaurant twice during our stay in canico. The service was very good, a good choice of food on offer! Staff were very friendly! The food, wow! Fabulous, I had tuna, it was absolutely delicious, the sauce was so tasty! my husband had beef, so tender! Thoroughly enjoyable experience! Thank you!

Went to this restaurant 3 times in our stay. Such a great place. Food is really good, staff so friendly and English perfect. Could not have been more accommodating with finding us table on night we did not book. Popular venue. Recommend the prawns in garlic sauce starter and wife loved scabbard fish with banana main. Nice setting with view. Definitely recommend

Fabulous food served by really friendly and jovial Maitre'd and waiter. I thoroughly recommend the Loin Steak, which was one of the best meals I've ever had. The restaurant is nicely laid out, and everything is scrupulously clean (including the cutlery and glasses). This is the best restaurant we've found so far ?

Lovely friendly restaurant, great service. Would not recommend chicken skewers really dry (chicken legs). However all the other food was really lovely. Not to expensive. Will visit again.

In my opinion the best restaurant in Caniço and the most delicious food I've tried in Madeira. Not only was the food delicious (highly recommend the avocado with vinaigrette, the Bolo do Caco and the amazing poncha), but the staff was incredibly welcoming and polite. Went there three times during our stay and especially Afonso, Dino and Mario were a delight. Thank you for the exceptional atmosphere. I will definitely return. Lara (from Berlin)
Amazing place to have traditional Madeiran food. Good, big portions, well seasoned and prepared. We had the Espada with banana (a must try!) and the Picanha. Both tasted perfectly and the service is extremely friendly. Can totally recommend it.

Best restaurant ever , went 3 times during our week holiday .each time the food was fantastic, the staff are amazing so friendly, helpful and totally professional, great value for money , lots of choice , portions are amazing and so tasty .Cannot recommend this restaurant enough .A true hidden gem . The food is excellent, tomahawk steak was huge (good for 2 people), prices are normal. The restaurant has a nice vibe to it, there’s great view from the windows. One minus was the waitress barely spoke English - but I’d say it was sufficient to order our meals, and despite that she was very engaging.
