It is located on the street but very quiet with limited sea views. We went there because we wanted to eat hamburgers. Because in almost every other shop you are only served one patty xD. They were just sandwiches but they tasted really good, the bread was nice and fluffy, the sauce was delicious, the salad was good and the patty was also very good. I had a vegetarian burger. The fries were homemade and deliciously seasoned and almost no ketchup was needed. There is also an incredibly large selection of drinks, as is clear at Peters Wine & Beer, even some varieties from Germany, but also many variations of Poncha, a typical drink on Madeira made from rum, honey, lime juice and other fruit juices if you want. The owner is actually very nice, but also a bit peculiar, he quickly starts talking and then forgets to take the orders. If you're a little more reserved, it can be a little uncomfortable, but he'll notice even if you don't want that.
Vegetarian options: There isn't much to choose from, but this vegetarian burger was very tasty. It's really difficult to find more than one or two vegetarian dishes in Madeira.

We were looking forward to a lovely evening in this establishment. Unfortunately, as soon as we picked up the drinks, it started to happen that the waitress didn't really feel like serving us...yes. After we had the drinks put on the table, I wanted to order a burger that was on the menu. She said no to the order and instead offered us a sandwich for two. We got the impression that she didn't feel like finishing a burger. Since we were very hungry, we accepted their offer. At this point I will abbreviate:
Food was okay, waiter asked if everything was okay, we said yes and he still asked "but?" when we wanted to leave, no goodbye or have a nice evening.
In short, 2/10

I can't understand why the price of coffee at night is more expensive. The menu shows the price of a bica at €1 from 10pm onwards and I was charged €1.20. Even though I questioned the employee, he told me that it was the cost of the evening coffee and didn't even look at the menu I presented to him... Terrible, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Amazing food and service. Has a TV where we watched football once. I highly recommend the local burger/sandwich dish (think it's called prego da casa), splendid ?
Peter's Poncha! Great food if you're hungry! Great service from him who was there, really nice! And good hamburgers, different bread and that only made the food better!

Parking: Free off-street parking. Larger parking at the bottom of the street for a fee and maximum 5 hours.

Good food and nice place with music! The service was great until they changed staff in the evening, then we sat with empty glasses until we got tired and went home to the hotel instead..
