From the excellent fish to the friendliness of the staff, to the good atmosphere, everything is just right. Ask for a lack of parking, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

Enjoyed some great fresh fish and limpets. The service staff are incredibly attentive and nice. The location of the restaurant in a not so nice new building is definitely made up for by the simple but tasteful furnishings and hospitality.

I went to Traineira yesterday for the first time. I had heard good things about it and it really didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed both the service from the staff and the meal. We ate the mixed fish which is perfect for 2 people and also comes with side dishes. It's really worth it. Without a doubt I will return.

Great place with very good food and friendly service. The aquarium with crabs, lobsters and lobsters provided us with great entertainment ;-) during our stay in Madeira, we went to the restaurant 6 or 7 times and it was always delicious :-) so delicious that we didn't look for another place. I recommend highly.

This restaurant is not recommended at all. 4 people arrived at 8:40 pm for dinner and the employee refused any reservation claiming the service was closed, with the closing time at 11:00 pm announced at the entrance. Perhaps speaking in a language other than Portuguese, reservations would not be necessary. Good promotion of national tourism in Madeira.
